DSP based Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Simulation for GCPV-based DSTATCOM using Frequency Domain Controller

Abstract This study presents a comprehensive simulation of digital control applications for grid-connected photovoltaic (GCPV) system using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) approach that incorporates Digital Signal Processor (DSP). The is carried out the MATLAB Simulink block set and employs frequency domain controller as algorithm. inputs, which consist voltage current sensor readings, are processed by an ADC idealizer produces output based on real-time DSP-based HIL system. then utilized to generate pulse width modulation (PWM) signal, drives source inverter (VSI). simulation’s primary objective demonstrate simplicity efficacy proposed design GCPV-based DSTATCOM results validate performance under various operating conditions, including steady-state, unbalanced loads, variable solar insolation, day-to-night transitions.
